Born and raised in Waterford, Wisconsin married to husband Tom. Has two children Kelly and Karman, three grandchildren Chase, Alyssa, and Jake.
Mary started her hobby sewing in 4-H while in grade school and continued through high school and is still sewing as of today. Mary has taken many classes and learned many techniques in her lifetime. She has sewn many bridesmaid dresses and formal wear also sewed costumes for the Honey Creek Community Theatre and taught western wear to 4-H members.
She spent 27 years as a hairstylist in the Waterford area and 21 years in big box fabric industry before retiring.
As of today, Mary is still an avid sewer and quilter and donates to many charities and fundraisers throughout the year.
Recently Mary has learned how to machine embroidery on deerskin and many other fabrics and enjoying teaching some of her friends the art of quilt making and bag making.
She is also a member of the Loose Ends Sewing Group, which meets at the Waterford Public Library. If you are behind Mary in a car please beware she stops at every quilt store.
